Friedrichshain/Kreuzberg was shaking at the “8 Jahre beatport” (8 yrs of beatport) party, that was celebrated last night at Watergate.
As it is not allowed to take pictures inside (and as a club-lover, I do respect the rules) I took the liberty to take the picture above from the inside – out.
The vibes were amazing when I arrived, STEVE BUG apparently had heated up the Main floor and MACEO PLEX rocked the packed club – all you could see was hands in the air and joy in the faces of the crowd.
ADAM BEYER, who played afterwards was nice as well – and I haven’t seen such a good party in quite a long time, where the crowd is actually reacting to the set played.
Beatport did a good pick with the line-up, and people came over from other cities just to see their heroes on the decks – even when I left, I bumped into a group of people leaving, telling me that they had booked a trip to Berlin just to see Maceo Plex :)
The talks about beatport are going on, and we all are buying from the portal. I do hope as well that they will take the responsibility as a big contributor to spread electronic music and take care of the scene.
Happy birthday, beatport!
THANKS to WATERGATE, Maceo Plex & Management and everyone who joined the party yesterday.

A very honest, constructing interview with MACEO PLEX is soon coming up on stylistberlin! Stay tuned and spread the word!
