Thirsty Eyes (BAD001)
“Thirsty Eyes” is the first release on Alland Byallo’s Bad Animal label.
1. Thirsty Eyes (Original) 5:49
The original track is quite a deep track, which works with a mechanized voice – dark, bizarre – not the light house tunes. Special, because it put weight in it and is very powerful in it’s flow – favourite track of the EP – love the remixes, but this one is the best in original form.
Best played at prime time.
2. Open Windows 7:21
Quick drum beats opening the track, minimalistic style the first part, but you will get the melody loop on the latter one.
Looking forward to hear this mixed with other tracks.
3. Thirsty Eyes (dOP rmx) 8:08
dOP transformed the original, adding more robotic tunes to the beats and interpreting it to a simpler, quite minimalistic track. I am not sure about the last third of the rmx, when the beats are almost entirely dropped for the vocals, you can’t really play it. A track better played at afterhours.
4. Thirsty Eyes (Adam Port rmx) 7:22
Definitely an Adam Port style rmx – this rmx is lighter than Alland`s heavy track and the vocal sampling is left in the original form. Very soft and playful version of “Thirsty Eyes” that will attract loads of listeners due to its narrowed to the bones-simple form and can be played in between all usual house music sets.
