As I do like the label Exploited and the artists collaborating with it, I am very happy to unveil the latest project of DJ Shir Khan:

Shir Khan just announced a new compilation/Mix-CD under the name of “Dancing & Romancing” and it will be released at the end of 2011.
He was playing at some huge festivals this year as well. For all those who missed out FUSION FESTIVAL this year, and with it the overwhelming line-up, here is

His podcast mix serves up a prime example of the broad-minded DJing style he practices: Funky styles by Jamie xx and Julio Bashmore meet Ada‘s eletronica pop as well as modern and classic house music tunes and Shirke’s own remix of Munk‘s ‘La Musica‘.
That’s not everything. The past weeks, he has been preparing something he didn’t want to be reveiled – and this is it:
The father of Exploited is about to launch a sublabel of Exploted calles BLACK JUKEBOX, and rumours have already spread the word that it’s all about his favourite edits & blends.
Confirmed already by members of the scene yesterday, it’s just about to getting started :)
The first edition of BLACK JUKEBOX is a mix of deephouse – disco – soul with a hip hop touch – and we are really looking forward to it!
Good to hear that the reworks are done by my favourite DJs from Amsterdam, Zip & Tom (Homework) and Hamburg’s legendary party guys Friso & Benni (Adana Twins) – the latter will be featured in a seperate interview soon, so keep tuned if you want to know more about their upcoming release ;)

If you are in Berlin on Sat, July 23rd, drop by the releaseparty of BLACK JUKEBOX at Ritter Butzke. (I am hosting DabblTrabbl from Munich that night at Mein Haus am See – but we are sure to drop by at the party afterwards ;))
Shir Khan himself is playing, the Adana Twins with Dr.Dru, the usual suspects for a good party Jack Tennis are there and last but not least, Consistent, a name that appears more often in the scene these days – eep an eye on that one
