Greek born, London bred DJ, and Berlin based producer and label owner Alex Tsotsos a.k.a. GummiHz is at the forefront of a contemporary house movement heavily dressed in the authentic and raw trappings of the genres past. Since 2006, he’s been steadily serving his unique mixture of house and techno on esteemed imprints like Mobilee,Real Tone, Earthrumental, as well as exciting new labels like These Days and more recently on his own imprint Claap, amongst many others.

Thessaloniki native John Dimas is a well-known performer in Greece who throughout his career has dabbled with production and live performances as a DJ. His introduction to music was in 1999; collecting records of many and various artists. His musical culture at this time included a wide range of styles: techno, acid and more specificallyhouse music. He built himself a strong reputation as a DJ, and more precisely for his capacity to dig out hot and exclusive tracks. As a DJ, he without question possesses an incredible talent and is undoubtedly a rising star.

One could be very challenged and even confused looking at Quell’s output so far. Although a relatively young artist in terms of discography, the producer has already made it clear that he is very little concerned about sticking to one style of music or a certain scene of musicians. It is so rare these days to find individuals who have a bold approach towards dance music, pushing genre defying DJ-ing and general diversity, not only in the studio but also in life.
