Art Perfomances by Ikuyo Omura & Red Pig flower
Ikuyo Omura is born in Japan and currently lives and works in London. Ikuyo Omura will be collecting stuff around the city two days before her intervention at the S.K.Robinson space where the artist will recreate, insitu, upon her immediate instinct, some structures and objects. In this moment of urge the artist will communicate anxiety through her provocative actions. Seen as a cerebral and intimate piece, the artist also intends to create a fantasist playground for the public.
Red Pig Flower is born in Japan, lives and works in London UK; she is a painter, performer and installation artist. RED means reality. PIG means desire. FLOWER is originally a “plastic flower”, which means dreams and idealistic beauty. Her performance ‘Kill the red’ is based on the instinct of the death that appears in groups decision-making as a psychological fact. It also recalls the terrible cruelty of destiny.
