Recent years have seen Edu Imbernon quickly grow into Spain’s leading DJ and producer. He has continued with his residency at Space Ibiza again this summer, continues to A&R his Eklecktish label to great new heights and is producing ever more illustrious house gems on his own label as well as the likes of Culprit, Get Physical and Skint. The latest feather in his bow is being asked to turn in an official remix of The XX on Young Turks, and finally we can now hear the results.

Edu’s version of ‘Reunion’ is a deep house masterclass that retains the original’s vocal but rehouses it in deep rhythms, lush synths and does so with plenty of poise. Expect to hear it everywhere this summer and check it out now if you haven’t already…
