Justin Martin’s first full length album was announced earlier, and before we can enjoy the whole album, today came out his third single from the album: “Don’t go”
01 DJ version: a lovely track, you would never expect Justin Martin, who hit the dancefloors with bombs like “Mr. Spock” and “Lezgo” returning to such a melodic, soft, warm track:
a timeless organ intertwines with an increasingly urgent harp, eventually lifted beyond the heavens by the song’s ethereal vocals
– this is what the official description is, and we cannot agree more. Justin Martin managed to create a track that is a bit Asian-style with the melody and the arrangements of the elements.
02 Ruff Stuff version: This is how we know Justin Martin, getting the soft, original track in dirtybird-style! Danceable, fun and still letting the original shine through the heavier bassline and pitched down vocal interludes. Slower than the other releases we know from him, still with the typical dirtybird drum and bass elements.
Opinion: Five out of five stars, as he does not only show his artistic skills with the DJ version, but also the ability to transfor the track soit fits to all the dirtybird styles released so far.
