The gentleman you see wearing the bizarre attire is one Orlando; producer and performer behind the creatively named Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Hailing from the Greco-Roman family of Berlin and London party-starters with three successful EPs, TEED has since signed with Polydor and put out two singles: ‘Trouble’ and the re-release of that familiar melancholic anthem, ‘Garden.’
As witnessed during his landmark headliner show at MELT! Festival this past summer, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs swings between overt musicality and scarily on-point dance floor intuition. With his live show you can expect a host of bizarre instruments, glitter cannons and of course… dancing dinosaurs. BIG remixes of Friendly Fires, Darwin Deez, and Lady Gaga continue to reflect TEED’s growing prowess on an international scale. Having survived Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs will release his first LP in early 2012.
Greco-Roman is a collective of musicians and artists on the Berlin/London axis run by ex-!K7 label boss Alexander Waldron, Dom Bastyra, and Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, together they throw irregular speakeasy parties around the globe, DJ as a soundsystem and release records on their artist development label. In the last 18 months they have invited Caribou, James Blake, Matias Aguayo, Hot Chip and Gold Panda to play in Berlin, while releasing records by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Hackman, Drums of Death, Enchante and Joe Goddard. http://www.facebook.com/
