Mon, 10 Jan 2011 Max Prosa /Band) at b-flat

Prelude.
It was just yesterday when the survivors of the made to play party at Panorama Bar sat at breakfast table, having one of those after-party talks. One topic was the weird crowd in Berlin who danced danced all night but still complained about the music, if asked, and the other was annoying people in clubs. One brought up the phenomenon of people in the crowd who stood in front of the DJs throughout the set just talking…
Question: Why do you pay the entrance fee of a club where the best DJs in the worlds present their sets, if you don’t want to come to dance? Go to a bar, go to the bar at the club, just go somewhere else, would you please? Isn’t a club a place where you go dancing? Isn’t it weird to just stand there and talk?

Point.
The band of Max Prosa was playing at one of the most famous venues for live music in Berlin, at b-flat tonight. Having gathered quite some fans, and three bands palying in a row, the bar was packed. Unfortunately, direcly in front of the stage, some no-German-speaking tourists occupied 5 seats. The conversation of that group showed resemblance to gaggling chicken, even though there were only two women sitting there (those were the loudest in that crammed place). IT WAS SO ANNOYING.
– A while ago, a friend of mine considered moving away from his awesome apartment at Rosenthaler Platz because the hotels nearby drew so many tourists, which was a bit “too much” for him. I couldn’t agree more tonight. –
Seriously, if you don’t speak the language and can’t understand a word of the lyrics, no big deal. Does not music have a language of it’s own and is universally spoken and understood? I promised myself not to post any negative opinions on this blog, but seriously, I felt like shouting “GO HOME you people!” Three bands and nonstop talking. Why the heck taking the best seats in the club if you cannot show some appreciation for the music?

Just because you are new to Berlin or just visiting does not imply you can behave like idiots all the time. Please just try to stick to the general rules of society.
