Panorama Bar

The debut of Homework at Panorama Bar on Sat, 08.01.2011 was a great success!

The young-aged DJ-team from Amsterdam (Tom Waist and Zip Stolk) rocked the crowd with their 4hrs set(0-4), starting the music marathon of made to play, which was followed by “the boss” from the UK himself, Mr. Jesse Rose (4-6:30), M.in (6:30-9), currently residing in FFM and wrapped up by Renaissance Man (Helsinki).

The crowd included all Berlin based label artists of made to play and many familiar faces, family and friends from MTP, Exploited Records, Keinemusik, Neighbourhood and so on. It was like a small family reunion, and the best thing about the people was, that every single one was having a good time and enjoying the sets.

. Homework: for those two quite young guys, Zip and Tom, who just got to play internationally in 2010, it was a great debut set at Panorama Bar.

“It’s their first time here and for that I think they are doing a great job”

“The sound was good”

“They had fun playing that’s important”

“Niiiiiice!”

. Jesse Rose: the master himself got a set and he definately was rocking the audience!

“Jesse Rose did the best job getting the crowd right”

“Hammer!”

. M.in: You know that he is a good producer ;) Looking forward to his development at made to play from February on.

. Renaissance Man: Definately one of my favourite DJ teams of 2010, they presented a set with quite a new colour. Really curious how the new album that is in the making and is going to be finished these days will turn out.

Keywords: lucky strike, ice cream, weird persons, raving crowd, imitating tweety, slipping on ice (ouch), blaues band, 5yrs made to play, rave, English breakfast, coke in the morning, facts about DJs and unwanted mushrooms in icecream (I hope the person who did that will burn in hell after death)

12hrs of raving, a nice breakfast and loads of talks, too bad they do not allow pics at Panorama Bar, but I have to respect that…

Made to play, my favourite label these days.

PS. Status Monday, 0:45am: still recovering from dancing around the clock.
